My journey in education began at 17 as an after-care teacher at a pre-school, where I was captivated by the children's sense of wonder. This experience fueled my passion for teaching and my love for social sciences like Government, History, and Psychology, guiding me towards a career in education.
Recognizing my students' struggles with literacy, I pursued a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, focusing on secondary literacy. As a curriculum leader and professional development liaison, I identified learning gaps among both students and faculty, particularly in technology integration and interdisciplinary connections. This led me to create engaging professional development opportunities for faculty, igniting my interest in adult education.
My commitment to knowledge-sharing brought me to the IDOL Academy (a virtual vocational school that trains students to become instructional designers and eLearning developers), where I earned accreditation in instructional design. Now, I leverage my expertise in learning theory, design, and creativity to develop impactful and engaging learning content.
I am eager to bring my skills and passion to the learning and development field.
Let’s collaborate to create meaningful educational experiences that inspire and engage all learners.
